— Selected Work
Long-form project work across design systems, enterprise platforms, and complex product UX.
— My Approach
A structured approach that brings order to ambiguity — from first question to final handoff.
Deep-dive into user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. Workshops, interviews, and competitive audits.
Mapped system dependencies across infrastructure domains during the UN PRISM project, revealing hidden operational relationships that informed the dashboard architecture.
Designing Operational Clarity →Information architecture, user flows, and content hierarchies. Making sense of complexity before touching pixels.
Designed a hierarchical filtering architecture to simplify configuration workflows in a complex SaaS interface.
Filters Are a Decision-Support System →Token-based component libraries, design language definition, and scalable patterns built to last.
Built token-based component architecture and design documentation to align design and engineering across a scaling SaaS platform.
From Drift to Foundation →Interactive prototypes tested with real users. Iterating fast based on observed behaviour, not assumptions.
Interactive prototype used to validate operational workflows with stakeholders before engineering implementation began.
Designing Operational Clarity →Handoff-ready specs, developer notes, design documentation, and ongoing support through build.
Governance documentation and implementation guidance created to support development and reduce UI drift over time.

Straight up: Elleta is awesome. When I met her at a conference, she immediately expressed her desire to dive into substantive design systems work, which stuck with me.
We’ve thrown everything and the kitchen sink at her, and she’s surprised and delighted us with her ability to make things happen while also being thoughtful and thorough. She sweats the details.
She’s now with us on the bleeding edge of AI & design systems, embracing new tools and ways of working. Any team would be lucky to have Elleta join their crew.
Elleta consistently brings clarity to complex product problems and builds systems that scale.

FEATURED PROJECT
A hackathon concept created during the Into Design Systems hackathon exploring how AI could help detect design drift, support accessibility, and maintain consistency between design systems and implementation.
— Design Lab
Rapid investigations into complex interaction patterns, system dashboards, and AI-assisted workflows.
EXPLORATION
Exploring AI-assisted legal search and multimedia navigation patterns for complex regulatory systems.
EXPLORATION
Redesigning financial screening workflows to improve filtering, sorting, and comparison of dense financial datasets.
EXPLORATION

EXPLORATION
Designing a high-density operational dashboard inspired by Formula 1 race telemetry and control room systems.
— Interactive Work
Real prototypes exploring complex interaction patterns, system logic, and workflow design.
Interactive prototype exploring unified search, filtering, and booking patterns for a B2B travel platform.
High-density operational dashboard with tiered analytics, data visualisation, and insight-driven annotations.
Design system investigation dashboard — exploring AI-assisted component analysis and governance workflows.
Hackathon prototype: AI-assisted UX auditing on a Figma-style canvas — heuristic evaluation, drift detection, and accessibility checks with real-time highlights.
Evolved from Guardian: cream-glass plugin with pattern citations, inline fix application, documentation push, and a browseable pattern library.
— About
I'm a product designer who works at the intersection of systems thinking and interaction design. I care about building things that are coherent, scalable, and genuinely useful — not just polished.
Most of my recent work has been in B2B SaaS — design systems, complex data interfaces, and multi-role platforms where the user journey is rarely linear and the stakes are high.
I'm at my best when I'm working on hard problems with people who care about getting them right.
If I think a brief is solving the wrong problem, I'll say so — with evidence, not just instinct. I'd rather surface a challenge early than deliver the wrong thing on time.
Ambiguity doesn't slow me down — it focuses me. I thrive in systems with competing constraints, unclear requirements, and high stakes.
I share rough work early and often. A scrappy concept that starts a conversation is worth more than a polished direction no one saw coming.
Good design solves for both. I don't treat business goals as a compromise — I treat them as part of the design problem.
